Topography

The topography of my area.
We live on the Gulf of Mexico with manmade beaches that stretch for miles. Our area is very flat, but home to many types of trees and animals.

Due to living on the coast, many people fish, sail, and swim for recreation. The water also provides many with various jobs and tourists with delicious seafood.

How is your area governed? (Both the country and your specific town.)
We have a mayor and several alderman that are elected to lead our city. The citizens of Mississippi also elects a governor to oversee the affairs of our state. Our federal government contains three major governing bodies: The President, The Congress, and the Supreme Court. Each body of government is balanced by the certain given powers.
